Was I hallucinating? Was I gong crazy? Or maybe it was all a dream? Who knows, but what ever it may have been, it was definitely life-changing.
I just settled in India during my tour of the world. India really interested me for Ghandi being from there. Anyways, I was taking a couple days to just relax, free my mind, and meditate. Then and there is where it all happened.
As I was meditating, I had drifted off in to this weird emptiness. The surroundind, my clothes, everything was pure white. While I was examining the vacant room, something amazing happened. I was welcomed by my Grandma Carter who I haven't seen since I was four years old. We wept happily after never really knowing one another. She then explained to me why she and I were there. I just couldn't believe what she was saying, but I also couldn't believe that I was there with my grandma either. Grandma Carter told of the clouds of Heaven and how she was sent to guide me through three of them. As she finished up, we were on our way.
Cloud One; The Contributors
We reached cloud one. Cloud one is where people who had contributed to helping the lives of others settled in their after-life. Clara Barton told us her story of being the founder and the first president of The American Red Cross! She spoke of times of being a pioneer American teacher, nurse, and humanitarian. She left me amazed. Even more amazed when she told me that God had blessed her with the power to still help people on Earth who are in need. As much as I wanted to hear more, we had to go on.
Cloud Two; The Peace Promoters
As we moved to cloud two I was so anxious of whom I was going to meet next. Cloud two is where people who promoted peace in any way possble and did no matter what. As we walked in I spotted John Lennon, my hero! I almost fainted! I really couldn't explain how happy I was meeting someone who I thought I never could. John Lennon was an English rock start and one who agined world-wide fame as one of the founding members of The Beatles. Through The Beatles music, John Lennon wrote about peace. Even outside his musical world, he presented peace and pushed for it any and every way he could. He was earned with a peaceful after-life with no stress, no worries, nothing but peace, love, and happiness. I would have done anything to spend just another moment with him, but we had to journey to the final cloud.
Cloud Three; The Spiritual Ones
Cloud three consisted of people who were Spiritual leaders of their time. That's when Ghandi came to mind. Hoping he was the one I would converse with. You guessed it, lucky me. Ghandi strolled up towards my grandma and I and welcomed me with ahug. Ghandi was the pre-eminent political and spiritual leader of India during the Indian Independence Movement. He spoke to us about his many accomplishments in life. He told of how he led nationwide campaigns to ease proverty, expand wonmen's rights, build religious and ithic amity, and untouchability, and increase economic self-reliance. I sat in awe. He was blessed with the reward of always being in the presence of the Lord. How amazing would that be? Just great.
After we finished up with the third and final cloud, Grandma Carter explained to me why I was here. She told me that my life is heading in the right path. The path that leads you straight to Heaven. Grandma warned me not to mess up my chances of living my after-life here and that it was crucial to keep up my good life.
After all that there was one thing I did not like, and that was saying good bye to my Grandma Carter. We cried with sadness, but she promised to always look over me. We said our farewells and I snapped to reality. I was amazed.
REFLECTION:
My punctuation and grammar really surprised me in this. It didn't end strong and could have been a little better put together too. I still enjoyed writing this and doing the research.I can see pontential in this writing for myself.
